Welcome to the Gomillion Tissue Regeneration (RegenX) Laboratory in the College of Engineering at the University of Georgia! We are a part of the School of Chemical, Materials, and Biomedical Engineering within our college.
Our research focuses on the development of engineered natural replacements for composite tissue systems to repair and restore damaged or diseased tissues. Current topics include evaluation of factors modulating cell behavior, assessment of cell-biomaterial interactions, biomaterials modification, scaffold design and optimization, and translational research applications.
