The 2015 REU poster session was held today, and students from each of the REU programs on campus had an opportunity to present their work performed this summer. Our lab had the pleasure of hosting two NanoBio REU summer students, Ishmael Rogers (Atlanta Metropolitan State College, co-mentor Dr. Locklin) and Elizabeth Gianino (Wake Forest University, co-mentor Dr. Handa). Renovations are done, (most) of the boxes are unpacked, and we have been given the official approval to open as a lab! There’s still some work to be done with final stocking and setting up of equipment, but it will only be a short time before we are up and running. This space has come a long way.
