This work establishes quantitative impedance as a means for characterizing breast cancer cell migration and metastatic potential in vitro using the Maestro Z from Axion Biosystems. Excited to broadly share this methodology for a modified quantitative wound healing assay approach.

Dr. Gomillion had the opportunity to present some of the labs’ work at a recent STEM Women’s Leadership conference in Miami, STEMNoire. This was a wonderful time to network with researchers from all areas of STEM, as well as refocus on well-being. This was a great and enlightening meeting!

Congratulations to Dr. Gomillion who was recognized along with other members of the inaugural cohort of AIMBE Emerging Leaders at the recent AIMBE Annual Event. This was a great time for networking, collaborating, and a visit to Capital Hill by attendees. It was a great visit to the offices of Senators Warnock and Ossoff from Georgia.
